Since its inception, the Vihara has become a well respected centre for worship, meditation and religious gatherings for Buddhists and non-Buddhists.  The Vihara also offers people the opportunity to read and learn about Buddhism based on the oldest and most orthodox form of Buddhism.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;div&gt;&lt;br /&gt;The chief incumbent, Venerable Puja Akaravita Sangananda from Sri Lanka, has been offering a dedicated service to provide advice and guidance based on the Buddha Dharma. The Dhamma School provides a comprehensive curriculum pertaining to the life of the Lord Buddha, the teachings of the Buddha Dhamma and it educates children on the importance of Buddhist values to their lives.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;The Dhamma School is a free service offered by the Dhammadeepa Buddhist Mediation Centre. It is entirely supported by generous contributions made by parents of children attending the Dhamma School.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;The Dhamma School is held weekly from 2.00pm to 4.30pm on Sundays.  Please contact the chief incumbent, Venerable Puja Akaravita Sangananda, to enrol your child into Dhamma School.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Discipline is an essential learning element that will encourage a positive working environment for our children. When attending classes, children are expected to dress appropriately in white.
