The Dhammadeepa Buddhist Mediation Centre actively pursues the quest to allow future generations to walk the path of the Buddha Dhamma.
The Dhamma School was established with the primary objective of teaching our young children to become good citizens in our society and to help them to find the right way of life, in order to obtain happiness and be free from suffering.
The Dhamma School focuses on introducing children to the teachings of the Lord Buddha and encourages them to implement these teachings in their thoughts, speech and actions throughout their daily lives. The Dhamma School provides a comprehensive curriculum pertaining to the life of the Lord Buddha, the teachings of the Buddha Dhamma and it educates children on the importance of Buddhist values to their lives.
The Dhamma School is a free service offered by the Dhammadeepa Buddhist Mediation Centre. It is entirely supported by generous contributions made by parents of children attending the Dhamma School.
The Dhamma School is held weekly from 2.00pm to 4.30pm on Sundays. Please contact the chief incumbent, Venerable Puja Akaravita Sangananda, to enrol your child into Dhamma School.
Discipline is an essential learning element that will encourage a positive working environment for our children. When attending classes, children are expected to dress appropriately in white. To gain the best possible outcomes for your child, please make all necessary arrangements for them to attend all Dhamma class sessions.
